LGBT+ Support Group
Workshop/Training
LGBTQ+ Support Group is for students that identify as a member of the LGBTQ+ community and those that are questioning if they are a member of the LGBTQ+ community. Students are provided with the opportunity to get together in a safe environment where they can learn from, and support, each other. Each week, we will discuss important issues that LGBTQ+ individuals face with topics being chosen by those who wish to participate. This group will be co-facilitated by Jacob Cameron, a therapist from USU Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS) and Erika-Danielle Lundström, the Gender and Sexuality Coordinator at the Inclusion Center. LGBTQ+ Support Group meets every Monday from 11:30am-12:30pm. Please contact CAPS to sign up, for location information, or any other questions you may have: 435.797.1012 or capsinfo@usu.edu.
Trans Allies Training
Workshop/Training
In this virtual two hour training, participants learn about key terminology, microaggressions, state laws, and other key topics that impact the trans and non-binary community. Participants have the opportunity to take a commitment pledge and receive a trans allies sticker. Pronouns and Pastries
Social/Networking
As part of Trans Awareness Week, we will be hosting pronouns and pastries in the Inclusion Center. Come learn about the importance of correct pronoun usage, USU trans resources, enjoy pastries, and grab free pronoun and USU progress pins.
USU Dragg Show
Arts/Entertainment
In collaboration with Residence Life and the Inclusion Center, USU will be hosting its annual Dragg Show. Keynote speaker will be Dr. Chris Babits. Come celebrate and learn about drag culture.
UndocuAlly Workshop
Workshop/Training
In this workshop, we learn about the experiences of our Undocumented communities and will gain an understanding of the resources available to them. Open to faculty, staff, and students.
AJEDI Series: Heart2Heart Workshop
Workshop/Training
Heart2Heart (H2H) is a theoretically-grounded intervention developed by people of color for people of color. In this series, we will build a community of support as participants learn about intersectional identities, racial wellness, microaggressions, empowerment, and microinterventions. Over the course of 8 weeks, we will build a Wellness Toolbox together and practice mindfulness.

Come learn about when, where, and how to start looking for scholarships. Our Scholarship Specialists will provide an overview of how the USU General Scholarship Application works. Students will be provided with information on how to update their profiles and begin applying for scholarships.
