Optional catered dinner is available on Friday and Saturday night.

Symphonic Band

Concerts are part of the band large ensemble curriculum. As capstone events, they typically occur twice per semester. Students are required to participate in these events as a large part of their grades, and these concerts are the culmination of several weeks of classroom rehearsals. Fanmi Imèn: A Celebration of Black Artistry

Join Flutist, Dr. Jeiran Hasan, and Pianist, Amy Glenn for an event in partnership with the NEHMA and the Black and African American Student Program Organization in celebration of Black History Month. This recital will feature repertoire by living black female composers and pairings of NEHMA collections, with a talk on the pieces by NEHMA curator, Dr. Danielle Stewart. A reception in the museum follows the recital, and this event will be live-streamed on the CCA Presents YouTube page.

Blake's Sophmore Violin Recital

Sophomore violin recital for Blake Matamoros, a student of Rebecca Mcfaul. Movements from J.S. Bach's Partita No. 2 for solo violin, a movement of Barber's Violin concerto, and Sinding's Suite in A minor will be performed. Select pieces will be accompanied by Lynn Keisker.

CONCERTO EVENING - USU Symphony Orchestra

Enjoy the winners of the annual Student Concerto Competition as they perform favorite works of the solo repertoire: Caden Webb (voice); Joshua Swank (cello); Carissa Devenport (violin); and Adam Bowen, Christopher Chapman, and Hayden Rouse (piano). Solo works by Grieg, Rachmaninoff, Shostakovich, Gounod, Korngold, and Skoryk, plus an electrifying overture by American composer Jessie Montgomery.
