USU at The Leonardo: Sonic Booms
Special Event
Supersonic Aircraft Noise Mitigation: The concept of commercial supersonic flight is an idea previously thought of as science fiction. A major hurdle in making it a reality is mitigating the sonic boom to be quiet enough to fly over residential areas.

Student Activities
Paddle and Skedadel your way across the HPER to glory in your cardboard boat. There will be prizes for the fastest boat, the one that can hold the most weight, and the crowd’s favorite design.

Spaghetti Bridge Challenge

Build a bridge out of spaghetti and marshmallows. There will be food, and the bridges that hold the most weight will win a prize.
