Free Group Fitness Classes

Have you wanted to try group fitness classes but didn't get around to buying the semester pass? Well now is your chance! Starting April 15th and going until the 26th, all group fitness classes through Campus Recreation will be FREE! Try classes like High Fitness, Yoga, Dynamic Conditioning, Weightlifting, Surge and more! A full schedule (including a revised one for Finals Week), can be found on fitness.usu.edu under group fitness or on our Instagram @usucampusrec.

MFA Thesis Exhibition: After the Bloom and Squaring the Circle

Ashton Keen and Carter Pasma are ceramic Master of Fine Arts of Fine Arts graduate students in the Department of Art + Design. Ashton’s thesis exhibition, After the Bloom, and Carter’s thesis exhibition, Squaring the Circle, showcase their impressive and diverse ceramic work. Throughout their program, fine arts and design students work with their committee and other artists to develop advanced techniques, expand concepts, discuss critical issues, and emerge with a vision and direction for their work. This exhibition showcases years of dedicated refinement and mastery of skills, ideas, and perspectives.

As the semester comes to a close, we are excited to invite all Biological Engineering students to a special event on April 26 at 11:00 AM in Room ENGR 404. This event will serve as a celebration of your hard work and dedication throughout the semester.
Join us for lunch, which will be provided, and take the opportunity to mingle with faculty members who will be present to offer advice and assistance regarding finals. This is a great chance to ask questions, seek guidance, and connect with professors outside the classroom setting.

Bryan Gustafson's Thesis Defense

Join us for an enlightening session as Bryan Gustafson, a graduate student in the Biological Engineering program, presents their Master's Thesis Defense. The presentation will be followed by a question-and-answer session, providing an opportunity for the audience to engage with the student and delve deeper into the research. Weber County 4-H Fashion Review

Workshop/Training | Utah 4-H and Youth

This contest is open to youth in 3rd to 12th grade, at the county level and state level . All divisions: Junior (3rd-5th graders), Intermediate (6th- 8th graders) and Senior (9th- 12th graders) are based on Sept. 1 of the current 4-H year. Only Senior division youth can compete at the national level. We will be judging the sewing construction as well as modeling for the constructed/modified division on the state level. If the contest ends up being a virtual event, we will only judge the modeling and interview. At the national level they only judge the modeling and interview. National level only allows you to compete in one division. Youth can compete in 2 different divisions and will be judged separately. Those divisions are: Constructed/Modified - 50% of the score will be on sewing construction and 50% will be on modeling and interviews (if virtual, 100% will be on modeling and interview). Modified outfits must show at least 30% change in the construction/design. Purchased/Embellished - 100% will be on modeling and interviews All items in this division are purchased but can included upcycling/embellishing that include little or no sewing of the purchased item.
