Reactive & Proactive Strategies to Address Antisemitism: Creating a Jewish Inclusive Campus Environment

Workshop/Training

Following up on the introductory workshop on Jewish Identity and Antisemitism on Campus, this session guides participants to apply their earlier learnings to think about and plan what they can do to create a more inclusive environment for the campus Jewish community — both reactively and proactively. Lunch & Learn - Food Is Medicine

Workshop/Training

USU Be Well and Registered Dietitian, Brooke Lister, present a lunch and learn on Food As Medicine. Food As Medicine is a growing movement that promotes using food and nutrition interventions as part of healthcare. Diet quality is one of the leading risk factors for death from chronic diseases in the United States which is partially fueling the Food As Medicine movement. Diet alone cannot and should not replace medicine in all circumstances but it can be helpful in promoting health and protecting our body from disease. In this presentation, we will be going through each food group and discussing ways that we can include these beneficial foods from each category in our diets to help create better lifestyle habits.

*Presentation is available in person and virtually and will be recorded. Attendance and participation in this event will qualify as an activity for the Be Well Rewards program.
