USU's Creative Writing Contest Winners Announced
Utah State University’s Department of English and the Creative Writing Program have named the 2012 Creative Writing Contest winners.
Open to all USU undergraduate and graduate students from all departments and disciplines, the contest received 185 entries from students in 22 areas of study across five colleges — a 17 percent increase over last year’s total.
With so many excellent entries, the contest was a very tight race this year, contest organizers said. They thanked all entrants for raising the level of the competition and making this year’s contest the best one yet.
The winning entries will appear in Scribendi, which will be released April 26 at a special night of Helicon West. Congratulations to the 2012 USU Creative Writing Contest winners.
