Students are taking a break at a café on the USU campus.

Why Live on Campus

There is no better way to experience all USU offers than by making it your home. 84% of Aggies live away from home, creating a true sense of community on our Logan campus.

Studies have shown that students who live on campus are more likely to...

  • graduate
  • pursue graduate studies
  • have better grades
  • improve their self-confidence
  • be more satisfied with their college experience
  • develop lifelong friendships
  • participate in extracurricular activities

On-Campus Housing

On-campus housing is convenient. All our facilities include utilities, cable TV, Internet and free laundry. We also provide a variety of other amenities, such as computer labs, lounge areas with TVs and game tables, parking, and more. Some areas also feature private exercise facilities, volleyball courts, fire pits, and a courtyard hot tub.

Living on campus makes it easy to walk home after late-night study sessions, grab a no-prep meal, work out before class, or find something to do during a break.

Residence Life

Living on-campus at USU comes with more than just a room with a view. Students have access to involvement opportunities, activities, and events to make the most of their college experience.

We know college can be stressful — especially if it’s your first time away from home. So the Residence Life program has supports and resources to help you transition to life’s next phase.

Where to Eat

Meal plans aren't just for students who live on campus. Anyone can buy a meal plan with anywhere from seven to an unlimited number of meals each week.

In addition to the two buffet-style eateries, USU has a variety of dining options across campus, including a food court in the student center and several cafés. We even have a full-service restaurant overlooking campus, the famous Aggie Ice Cream — which also sells sandwiches, cheese, and milk from USU's dairy — and the newly created Aggie Chocolate Factory.

Statewide Campuses Housing

USU Eastern in Price and USU Blanding are residential campuses to offer a classic campus experience at an affordable price, without sacrificing amenities or educational environments as they transition to college life.
