In this workshop we will go over how to: · Get rid of extra content in your course and simplify your course navigation. · Get rid of broken links and make sure your content is published. · Embed and caption your videos to make them more usable for everyone. · Provide content in user-friendly formats that work well on mobile devices.

Pressbooks is an open e-book authoring and publishing platform available to USU teachers and students. It allows teachers and students to find, reuse, author, and publish open content. Additionally, it incorporates tools for creating interactive activities to accompany the text using the open H5P assessment platform. Learn how to create or adopt an open textbook and make it interactive.

Learn how to plan, begin, and successfully teach a class over Zoom. This workshop focuses less on Zoom functionality and more on teaching strategies for keeping students engaged and minimizing distractions when teaching in real-time, remotely.
The Art of Fashion

Visit NEHMA for The Art of Fashion! An exhibition of half-scale fashion created by USU students in the Advanced Clothing Studies: Pattern Making (FCSE 3040) taught by professor Melissa Clark. Each design was inspired by a work of art on view at NEHMA.
The opening reception will be held on March 31st from 5:00 - 6:30 PM at NEHMA.
The designs will available to view following the reception in the Object Study Center through the rest of the 2023 Spring Semester.
