We have 30 new raised beds ready for planting at Hope Community Garden (HCG) in Logan, and now we just need gardeners of all experience and skill levels who are excited to grow with us! HCG is an entirely FREE community garden working to help tackle issues of food insecurity through sustainable agriculture. USU Tooele Campus Tours

Information/Orientation

Join our local Admissions Specialist Mike Booth for tours of the USU Tooele campus facilities and to learn more about college in Tooele. Tours last approximately 30-40 minutes and all guests will receive free Aggie Ice Cream on providing contact information for the university. Tours may be given offered the main building or the Science and Technology Building depending on timing and building availability.

Utah Low-Tech Wet Meadow Restoration: Virtual Workshop

Workshop/Training

In this one-day virtual workshop, Utah land managers and partners will be introduced to: reading the landscape to recognize meadow conservation opportunities, various low-tech “Zeedyk” structures (e.g., One Rock Dams, Zuni Bowls), project planning, implementation, and monitoring.
