4v4 Halo Pick Up Gaming

Student Activities

Get your game on with our 4v4 Halo Pick Up Gaming Night at the eSports Center on campus. All skill levels are welcome, it's an open environment for anyone to come and enjoy the game. It's free to play and all winners receive an Intramural Champ Shirt! The eSports Center is located in the old distribution center behind Maverick Stadium.

Glow in the Dark Spin

Our spin classes got even better with our special, one-night-only Glow in the Dark Spin class! Join us for an illuminated night of great music and a great workout on January 23rd from 6-7 pm in the Locomotion at the ARC. The class is free if you have a group fitness pass or just $5 without, glow sticks will be provided. Registration opens January 9th on recportal.usu.edu, so secure your spot as it will be limited!

Cooking Demo: High Protein Breakfasts!

Do you struggle with getting enough protein for breakfast or just want to learn more about new high protein breakfast ideas? This cooking demo is for you! It will be taught by senior USU Dietetics students in the ARC. Free food samples available! You are highly encouraged to register online to attend, only 20 spots are available. Come join us to learn more about high protein breakfast options.

Full Moon Snowshoe Hike

Recreation

Come spend an evening snowshoeing under the glow of a full moon. Be sure to dress warm for the cooler temperatures after dark. No snowshoeing experience is necessary, beginners are most welcome. Participants must be prepared for moderate physical activity in a winter environment. Trip cost includes snowshoe rental and transportation. Pre-Trip Meeting: NA (You will be contacted by OP trip leaders 24 hours before the hike with trip details and logistics) All participants must have health insurance and abide by OP and University Policies.

Top Rope Nights at the Climbing Wall

Join us at the Climbing Wall at the Aggie Recreation Center for our Top Rope Nights every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month. This free event is set to take place from 7 to 9 pm, offering a unique and exhilarating experience for climbers of all levels. Indulge in the excitement of scaling vertical walls, all while securely fastened to a top rope for a safe and enjoyable climbing session. Our skilled instructors will be on hand to provide guidance and encouragement, ensuring that both seasoned climbers and first-timers can make the most of the experience.

Blind Hollow Yurt Backcountry Skiing/Boarding

Recreation

We are heading up to the Blind Hollow yurt to spend the weekend enjoying the Bear River backcountry. We will explore some of the fantastic riding terrain around Blind Hollow and spend the evenings around the fire in the comforts of the OP's yurt. Prior backcountry experience is recommended and participants must be expert/advanced riders (able to comfortably ride black diamond western resort terrain). Participants must also be in good physical condition and prepared for strenuous uphill hiking. Winter backcountry travel equipment(Alpine Touring, Telemark, Splitboard) is required and available to rent from the OP for a nominal fee. NO SNOWSHOES. All participants must abide by OP and University Policies.

Sweat Day

Come sweat and release some stress or have just fun with Sweat Day on January 27th from 9am to noon! What is Sweat Day? It's four hours of various group fitness classes where you get to pick and choose what you want to take! A full schedule will be provided as the event date approaches. The event is free if you have a group fitness pass or just $5 without for the whole event. Registration gets you a free t-shirt, snacks, and drinks! Registration opens January 12th on recportal.usu.edu.
