Brand and Visual Identity

Public Relations & Marketing builds awareness and increases visibility by creating and implementing comprehensive marketing campaigns that support the university’s mission and goals.

Brand identity standards are intended to guide those responsible for creating communication and marketing materials for the university. Working with the Utah State brand is an opportunity for you to be part of something substantial, as the pieces you create represent Utah State University's high standard of academic quality.

Utah State University has achieved a distinctive position as one of the top public institutions in the nation.

Presenting a clear and consistent identity to the world has become especially important to maintain and grow that distinction.

While logos and symbols are not the sole elements of a brand, they are visual representations and an extension of the brand. By ensuring consistency and implementing cohesive standards, we protect the Utah State image and enhance the value of the brand.

Visual Identity Program

The university Visual Identity Program provides a process for ensuring that the university marks are properly used. In addition, it provides acceptable secondary mark uses, the official university color palette, typography, stationary system, and the approval process for all university related marketing and communication pieces.

The use of these guidelines will help you effectively use social media to achieve your communication goals while reinforcing Utah State’s brand identity.
