With Fall Change of Colors in Full Swing, USU Expert Explains Shift in Hue

Utah State Today regularly highlights work created by the talented student journalists at Utah State University. The following story was published on AggieTVNews prior to its inclusion in Utah State Today.

As the hills and mountains around Logan begin to shift from green to shades of reds, oranges and yellows; hikers of Cache County’s trails take in the sights of autumn. But to understand this change of colors, student journalist Zahra Nasir speaks with Utah State University Ornamental Horticulture Specialist Shital Poudyal.

In addition, community members share their love of the fall hues, and Cache Valley Visitors Bureau Director Julie Hollist Terrill also speaks about how the leaves impacts Logan.
