LOGAN, Utah — Utah State University will honor all who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces with several events on an around Veterans Day on the Logan campus. Events will begin on Thursday, Nov. 9 and continue through Saturday, Nov. 11.

“Veterans Day at USU is about honoring those ‘less than One Percenters’ who showed tremendous character by signing up to do exceedingly hard things in the face of possible harm and death to themselves,” said Andy Allen, director of the USU Veterans Resource Office. “Now these amazing men and women have chosen to better their futures by seeking a degree at Utah State University. We feel so proud and lucky to be their academic associates.”

Allen, a retired lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army, coordinates resources for veterans at USU through the university's Veterans Resource Office. Utah State is proud to honor its students and alumni who have served.
