Utah State Track & Field Announces 2020 Indoor/Outdoor Schedules

Utah State track & field released its 2020 indoor and outdoor schedules, as announced by third-year head coach Matt Ingebritsen on Tuesday.

The Aggies open the indoor portion of the season in Provo, Utah, as they compete at the BYU Indoor Invitational on Jan. 10-11, before heading to Fargo, N.D., for the North Dakota State Bison Team Cup on Jan. 18.

Utah State will head to Boise, Idaho, for the Boise State-hosted Ed Jacoby Invitational on Jan. 24-25, then wrap up January competition in Seattle, Wash., as the Aggies compete at the Washington Invitational on Jan. 31-Feb. 1.

The Aggies return to Bronco country for the Boise State-hosted Jackson's/Nike Boise Indoor Invitational on Feb. 7-8. USU will wrap up the regular season portion of its indoor competition season as the Aggies head to the New Mexico-hosted Don Kirby Invitational in Albuquerque, N.M., on Feb. 13-14. 

The Mountain West Indoor Championships will be hosted by New Mexico, from Feb. 26-29. The Aggie men finished third with 97 points at the 2019 MW Indoor Championships, while the women finished sixth with 59 points. Colorado State won the men's title with 151 points. The Rams also captured the women's championship with 139 points.

The NCAA Indoor Championships will also be hosted by New Mexico, taking place March 12-14.
 
The Aggies begin the outdoor portion of their schedule at the Arizona-hosted Willie Williams Classic on March 20-21 in Tucson, Ariz. USU will then split the squad, as it sends athletes to Austin, Texas, for the Texas Relays on March 26-28, as well as to Orem, Utah, for the Utah Valley Collegiate Invitational on March 28.
 
Utah State will remain split on April 3-4, as one group of Aggies will compete at the Stanford Invitational in Palo Alto, Calif., while the other squad will go to Tempe, Ariz., for the Arizona State-hosted Sun Angel Classic.
 
The very next weekend, Utah State returns home to host its annual meet, the Aggie Invitational, on April 10-11, at the Ralph Maughan Track Stadium.
 
The following week will be a busy one for the Aggies, as they divide into three groups for competition. One group will head to the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azuza, Calif., from April 15-18. Another group will compete at the Mt. SAC Relays in Walnut, Calif., from April 16-18, and a third group will head to the Long Beach State Invitational in Long Beach, Calif., on April 16-18. 

The Aggies then regroup for the final two weeks of the regular season, as they compete at the BYU-hosted Robison Invitational on April 24-25 in Provo, Utah, before wrapping up the regular season in Palo Alto, Calif., at the Stanford-hosted Cardinal Classic on May 1-2.
 
Utah State heads to Clovis, Calif., for the Mountain West Outdoor Championships, May 13-16. At the 2019 Outdoor Championships, the Aggie men placed third overall with 137 points and the women captured sixth place with 70 points.

Qualifying Aggies will then make a trip to Lawrence, Kan., for the NCAA West Preliminary Championships, May 27-30. The NCAA Outdoor Finals will take place June 10-13, in Austin, Texas.
