Utah State Blue Light And Carillon Bells Honor Student Elections

The Utah State University Blue Light atop Old Main Hill will light the night sky Thursday, March 6, to celebrate the outcome of the 2003-04 race for the Associated Students of Utah State University (ASUSU) student body officer seats. The Aggie Carillon Bells will ring 24 times at 1:10 p.m. to honor the day.

The ASUSU Executive Council enhances the quality of student life through academics, activities, student concerns, athletics, clubs and organizations, among other things. Every college has direct representation on the executive council through a college senator. The ASUSU Executive Council meets once a week to discuss issues and act on legislation.

The Aggie Blue Pride Light atop Old Main lights the Cache Valley night sky as a symbol of Aggie tradition, heritage and pride. The Aggie Carillon Bells ring not only to tell the time at Utah State, but to honor special occasions as well. The outstanding professors, staff and students honored are a part of this heritage and contribute to the high quality of Utah State.
