USU's Largest Symposium of Student Research Set for Research Week

This week, hundreds of students will gather in the Merrill-Cazier Library for the largest annual display of student research at Utah State.
An annual Research Week event, the Student Research Symposium is a showcase of USU’s commitment to student research. The symposium is the flagship event of Research Week and features more than 300 students, representing every college and many departments.
Students share their research efforts from the past year through poster displays, art exhibits, oral presentations and creative performances.
The symposium also serves as a learning opportunity: Students gain presentation experience and receive feedback from faculty evaluators on how to improve their research strategies, public speaking and visual communication.
Student Research Symposium is free to attend and open to all. Presentations run from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday in the Main Atrium and various rooms on the first floor of the Merrill-Cazier Library.
Digital materials and presentation times are available at the SRS event page on Symposium, which serves as the SRS virtual host.
A number of SRS awards will also be given to presenters, with recipients determined by the faculty evaluation scores. Those awards will be announced at the Student Research Awards Ceremony on at 11:30 a.m. Friday, also in the Main Atrium of the library.
