USU to Host 1st Universitywide Employee Appreciation Day

Utah State University is hosting its inaugural Employee Appreciation Day.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29, at Maverik Stadium. All USU employees, whether full time or part time, are invited for activities and free food.

Employee Appreciation Day is coordinated by the Office of Human Resources with support and sponsorship from several internal and external partners. The goal of this day is to celebrate all faculty and staff by providing food, activities and formal recognition for all employees do for USU and its students.

This event will include free lunch served by the USU Executive Committee. Activities will include a football field goal kick, flu shot clinic, tours of Athletic venues, live music, exhibitors, and more.

Employees must bring their USU ID card in order to access the event.

Logan Campus Activities:

• Free pizza, drinks, and Aggie Ice Cream.
• A flu shot clinic.
• Flashbacc the band. This cover band will have you groovin' to the classic rock sounds.
• Photo backgrounds. Take commemorative photos with your friends and colleagues against USU backdrops. Post pics on social media.
• Temporary tattoos. Rock your USU spirit with a nonpermanent tattoo.
• Field activities, including:
• Football field goal kick. Imagine yourself as your favorite USU player and see if you can score a field goal.
• Challenge your friends to a game of corn hole, giant Jenga or giant Connect 4.
• Putting with the USU Police. See if you can score a hole-in-one using a large golf putter.

• Blanding: Lunch & Movie, noon to 4 p.m. on Sept. 29.
• Brigham City Region: Lunch, noon to 1 p.m. on Sept. 29.
• Eastern: Lunch, noon to 2 p.m. on Sept. 29.
• Moab: Lunch, noon to 2 p.m. on Sept. 29.
• Southwest Region: Lunch, Time TBD on Sept. 29.
• Tooele: Lunch & Bowling, noon to 4 p.m. on Sept. 29.
• Uintah Basin: Lunch & Softball Tournament, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sept. 29.
• Wasatch Region: Lunch & Top Golf, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sept. 29.
