USU Student Association Officers for 2023-24 Inaugurated

The Utah State University Student Association officers for 2023-2024 were inaugurated on April 21. The officers represent student voices on university committees, provide valuable input on student fees and university funding decisions, and plan events for the student body.

“Our student body has shown their commitment to our shared mission with their active participation in this year’s election. We want to thank you for putting your trust in us to serve you,” said Abraham Rodriguez, the 2023-2024 USUSA president. “Together, we have the power to make a meaningful impact on our college experience. Our individual and collective commitment to grow as leaders will allow us to serve our student body and be a force for positive change.”

USUSA is an organization made by the students, for the students, because of students. Every student is a member of the association and is encouraged to engage in activities, clubs, events and initiatives.

This is the second year the organization will represent all 30 campuses and centers in the university system, which is a significant achievement for the land-grant institution. The officers are excited to continue building statewide connections and expand the Aggie family.

“We will continue to strengthen relationships with our statewide representatives and work on legislation that will impact the quality of education of our students across the state,” Rodriguez said. “We will make next year meaningful and get the most out of every second, every minute, every hour and every day. Let’s get to work.”
