USU Outdoor Product Design and Development Student a Finalist in International Competition

By Taylor Emerson |

Jack Dorrance, a Outdoor Product Design and Development student at USU, recently returned from Munich, Germany, where he was celebrated as one of 10 finalists for the Woolmark Performance Challenge — an international design challenge put on by The Woolmark Company with a partnership by Salomon this year.

More than 191 universities from 25 countries participated, with this year’s theme for the challenge focused on long-distance trail running in the mountains. The students were asked to produce a next generation of head-to-toe running kits for trail runners.
