USU Moab to Host Open House on Oct. 2

MOAB, Utah — The Utah State University Moab campus will host an open house from 4-6 p.m. Oct. 2. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with faculty and staff and learn more about the programs available at USU Moab.

“This is an opportunity for our community members to see what USU Moab has to offer,” said Kristian Olsen, senior associate vice president for USU Moab and Blanding. “This includes undergraduate and graduate programs, technical education, certification courses, as well as USU Extension. Please come join us and see what USU can provide for you.”

The campus is located at 1850 S. Aggie Blvd. in Moab. In addition to meeting with campus faculty and staff, participants can get answers to questions about scholarships, financial aid and get help with the application process.

The USU Moab campus opened on April 1, 2022. The building has won multiple awards for sustainability, as it is one of the greenest buildings in the state. The building provides state-of-the-art facilities and programs including nursing, technology education, recreation resource management, welding, construction and much more.

During the open house, scholarships will be awarded to qualifying students. There will also be drawings for other prizes, as well as light snacks for all attendees.
