** Utah State (16-4, 7-2) continues its three-game road trip this week as it travels to UC Santa Barbara (9-10, 6-3) on Thursday, Feb. 6 and to Cal Poly (9-9, 5-4) on Saturday, Feb. 8. Both games begin at 8:05 p.m. (MST).

** Utah State and UC Santa Barbara meet for the 54th time in school history this weekend. The Aggies own a 32-21 all-time advantage. USU is 12-11 all-time on the road against the Gauchos and has won five straight on the road. Overall, the Aggies have won the six of the last seven and 11 of the last 14 in the series.

** Utah State and Cal Poly meet for the 11th time in school history this weekend, with the Aggies owning a 9-1 all-time advantage. The last time the two teams met in San Luis Obispo was on Jan. 3, 2002, with Cal Poly recording a 61-58 win. Utah State is 3-1 all-time on the road against the Mustangs.

** Utah State gymnastics (3-2) hosts No. 4 Utah (2-2) Friday, Feb. 7. The meet begins at 7 p.m. in the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum. USU is 3-75 all-time against Utah, and is 2-20 in Logan. Last season, Utah defeated the Aggies in the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum, 196.350-193.600.

** USU's 195.350 against Boise State on Jan. 24 marked the first time it broke the 195.000 mark in the month of January. The score was the 15th best in school history.

** USU senior Nicole Kilpatrick set two career highs against Boise State, as she scored 9.950 on beam and 9.925 on floor in the meet. Her beam score ties the school record shared by Tina Ellis (2001) and Krissy Richards (1997), and her floor score ties the fifth-best in USU history. She won the beam title and finished second on floor.

** Rachel Ropelato had a career night on vault (9.850) and bars (9.800) against Boise State on Jan. 24. She and teammate Meagan Nelson tied for the vault title and the two also tied for second among the Aggies on bars.

** Utah State men's and women's indoor track teams travel to Boise State Friday, Feb. 7 and Saturday, Feb. 8 for the Boise State United Heritage Invitational.

** Freshman Kelli Burton has bettered the USU indoor women's shot put record in both meets in which she's competed. At Air Force, she set the all-time USU indoor record with a throw of 51-01.05.

** Throwers Josh Sides, Mark Burton and Ryan Bruhn have given USU stand-out performances this season. Sides has taken first place in the shot put in all three meets this season. In the same event, Burton has finished second twice and third once. Bruhn took first at the Wilson Motor Invitational with a personal best 60-01.25 in the weight throw.

** Justin Wickard has two first-place finishes and a second in his three hurdles races this season. This was the second season he won the 60-meter hurdles at the Wilson Motor Invitational.

** The USU men won 10 events at the Wilson Motor Invitational and had 19 top-three finishers. The women had two first-place finishers and 12 top-three finishers.

** Utah State (1-3) looks to extend its winning streak to two as it travels to Idaho State (1-2) on Thursday. Both teams won their first dual matches of the season against Gonzaga last week.

** The Aggies are 2-20 against the Bengals in the last 10 years. Both Aggie victories came last year as the Aggies defeated ISU in Pocatello, 5-2, and at the UNLV Invitational, 4-1.

** The Aggies will return Jordan Butler, Jonah Nelson and Jason Trask who went 5-2 in singles and 3-2 in doubles against ISU last year.

** Utah State's women's tennis will be in action this Wednesday, Feb. 5, against Idaho State in Pocatello, Idaho. The match begins at 2 p.m.

** Last season the Aggies defeated ISU 4-3 in Pocatello. Caroline Pollock, Richelle Ferguson, Carolyn Larsen and Haley Hawkins all posted singles victories for the Aggies.

** The Aggies are coming off their first loss of the season to #57 ranked BYU. The Aggies were swept by the Cougars. The Aggies are now 0-2 against the Cougars all-time since 1989.
