Utah State University Brigham City hosted the Sagebrush Spectacular, a three-day fundraising event that included a pickleball tournament and clinic, barbecue and ice cream dinner and a celebrity pickleball match. All the proceeds from the event went to scholarship funds to aid Brigham City students. The event was June 9-11 on the USU Brigham City campus.

During the event, the celebrity match featured Utah governor and Aggie alumnus Spencer J. Cox against Big Blue. According to Dan Black, associate vice president for the Brigham City Region, the spectacular raised more than $16,000 in scholarship funds.
