Rec Your Stress This Finals Season With Campus Recreation

Campus Recreation is hosting Rec Your Stress to help those burnt out or stressed at the end of the semester. Events from April 12-20 will range from climbing in Logan Canyon to a CrossFit-inspired competition.

“Intramurals is excited to be a part of Rec Your Stress as we’re offering tournaments for sports that aren’t offered in the spring season,” said Bailey Adams, assistant director of intramurals and youth programs. “We’ll be having a flag football and tennis tournament on April 19 and 20, and it’s a great opportunity for students to get outside, enjoy the nice weather and play with friends.”

The full lineup of events includes:

  • AggieFit Games from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 13, in the Fieldhouse. Register beforehand or the day of, starting at 7 a.m.
  • All group fitness classes are free starting Monday, April 15, until the end of the semester.
  • Lead Climbing Clinic from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, at the ARC Climbing Wall.
  • Cooking Demonstration from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, in the ARC nutrition center. You must register beforehand, because spots are limited.
  • Smash Wednesdays 6 p.m. April 16 at the Esports Center.
  • Flag Football Tournament starting on Friday, April 19, and continuing Saturday morning on the ALF.
  • Tennis Tournament at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 20, starting at the outdoor tennis courts.
  • Logan Canyon Climbing at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 20. Registration required.

Events are open to students, faculty and staff, and some are even open to community members. Event registration can be done on USU’s online recreation portal or the Fusion Play App for Intramural Tournaments.
