Outdoor Programs Used Equipment Sale Returns After Pandemic Hiatus

By Baily Kruzan |

Outdoors enthusiasts looking for a new set of skis or an upgrade on camping gear are invited to Utah State University Outdoor Programs’ used equipment sale.

The sale will run from noon to 7 p.m. Nov. 10 in the old Outdoor Programs shop located in the basement of the old distribution center just east of Maverik Stadium.

“This will be our first large sale since before the pandemic,” said Greg Davis, assistant director of Outdoor Programs. “Supply chain disruptions forced us to hold onto equipment longer than we normally would and change it over on a smaller scale. We are now able to replace our entire inventory of certain types of equipment and need to sell it to make room for the new inventory.”

The sale will include everything from summer gear like bikes, canoes and climbing equipment to winter gear like downhill, alpine touring and cross-country skis. USU students will get exclusive access to the sale from noon to 3 p.m., with a USU ID. After 3 p.m., the sale will become open to anyone.
