Noted Economist to Speak at USU's New Center for Growth and Opportunity

Eytan Sheshinski, a world-renowned scholar and expert in the areas of economics and public finance, will speak on the Utah State University campus Thursday, Oct. 12, at 1:30 p.m. in the new Center for Growth and Opportunity in the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business.

Sheshinski has served on the editorial boards for numerous economic journals and has held positions at MIT, Stanford, Harvard, Columbia, Brown, California-Berkeley and other prestigious universities.

Sheshinski's research focuses on innovative solutions to public finance problems and social security solvency. His work has been influential in improving aspects of international public policy for the past 40 years.
