New, On-Campus Early Care and Education Center

Utah State University’s new, on-campus Early Care and Education Center provides support to USU parents and their young children.

The center needs help identifying and addressing USU parents' early care and education needs. To assist the process, USU parents are asked to complete the USU Families/Parents Childcare Needs Assessment Survey by Nov. 30.

In preparation for the fall semester 2010 opening of the Delores Doré Eccles Center for Early Care and Education, the survey is being conducted to determine the early care and education needs of families within the university community.

The Delores Doré Eccles Center for Early Care and Education will be located in the new Emma Eccles Jones Early Childhood Education and Research Center. The state-of-the-art campus facility will provide a healthy, safe and nurturing learning environment for children ages 6 weeks through 6 years whose parents are Utah State University students, staff or faculty. Those planning the center are  interested in learning more about early care and education priorities and scheduling needs of families.

For ongoing updates and pre-registration information for the center, watch for its Web site at the Children’s House site or call 435-797-3657.
