Geology Professor Jim Evans Completes Term as Chief Editor

Utah State Department of Geology Professor Jim Evans has stepped down as chief editor of the Journal of Structural Geology. Evans served as associate editor at the journal from 1992 until he became chief editor in 1998 where he has served to the present. A professor with Utah State since 1987, Evans says his position with the journal was highly rewarding.

"I enjoyed the opportunity to learn much and see papers from submission to completion," he said.

Evans teaches a variety of courses at Utah State including Planet Earth, an introductory level integrated earth science class.
