Everyone Welcome to Showing of Iron-Jawed Angels Nov. 14

Utah State University’s Women in Politics is hosting a showing of Iron-Jawed Angels Thursday, Nov. 14, at 6:30 p.m., in Lundstrom Hall on the main campus in Logan. The movie is a commemoration of the Silent Sentinels outside of the White House who were beaten, arrested and force-fed. The event is free and open to the public. The event is sponsored by USU’s Year of the Woman and pizza will be served.

Founded in 2018, USU’s Women in Politics group is open to women from all political backgrounds interested in politics, government, law, NGOs and advocacy.

“We want to empower, educate, connect and lead our members through intentional programming focused on women in politics,” said Whitney Johnson, president of Women in Politics.
