By Taylor Emerson |

On Monday, Utah State University's Aggie First Scholars program celebrated National First-Generation College Student Day with a day of events aimed at recognizing and celebrating first-gen students at USU. The day began with a grab-and-go brunch in the Inclusion Center, followed by a BIPOC Student Panel, and finished off with a red-carpeted gala. AFS also aimed to collect 100 first-gen stories from USU students, asking each to discuss what college means to them and what makes their story unique, among other topics.
