Celebrate National Ice Cream Day Early With USU's Aggie Creamery
By Lynnette Harris |
In anticipation of National Ice Cream Day, join in a "Cow to Cone" celebration hosted by Utah State University's Aggie Creamery on from 3-5 p.m. Friday, July 19, at the Aggie Ice Cream shop at Aggie Blue Square, 1111 N. 800 East, Logan, across the street from Maverik Stadium.
The first 400 guests will receive a free mini scoop of Aggie Ice Cream, courtesy of Dairy West, a supporter of the dairy industry in Idaho and Utah. Families can also enjoy activities including a petting zoo, balloon animals and face painting for the little Aggie Ice Cream fans.
Utah State University's award-winning dairy cows, part of the university's teaching herd, produce the high-quality cream used by faculty, technicians and students to create famous Aggie Ice Cream.
Dairy West, representing dairy farm families in Idaho and Utah, is dedicated to promoting the dairy industry and its products locally, nationally and globally. They also provide educational resources for dairy professionals and support student scholarships at Utah State University, fostering the education of future leaders in the dairy science industry.
National Ice Cream Day is officially on Sunday, July 21, but don't miss this perfect warm-up to the coolest national day of the year.
