Annual Engineers Week Returns to USU

Are you ready for Engineers week?

The Utah State University College of Engineering will join universities across the nation to celebrate the annual Engineers Week — four days full of events, activities and educational fun.

Starting Tuesday, Feb. 20, through Feb. 23, the Engineering Council and clubs across the college will host events, workshops and demonstrations for students across USU. The annual Community Night will return as well, proving outreach and hands-on fun to families across Cache Valley.

“Engineers Week is the perfect opportunity to take a break and enjoy fun activities,” said Maddie Witte, president of Engineering Council. “Come hang out, bond with classmates and continue to learn.”

Highlights for the week include:

Tuesday, Feb. 20

  • Lunch and Linger
  • Pinewood Derby
  • Lightning Talks

Wednesday, Feb. 21

  • Ultimate Trivia
  • Cardboard Boat Races

Thursday, Feb. 22

  • Breakfast Snacks by the Dean
  • Eggsellent Egg Drop
  • Community Night

Friday, Feb. 23

  • Spaghetti Bridge Challenge
  • Awards Banquet
