All Things Considered: USU Senior Bachelor of Fine Arts Show

Twenty Utah State University senior Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) students have been hard at work preparing for their undergraduate capstone show. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, students have been preparing artworks and because of the challenges during the past year, the show has been aptly named: All Things Considered. The exhibit is on display Monday, March 8 through Friday, March 19, in the Tippett’s Gallery on the second floor of the Fine Arts Visual building on USU’s main Logan campus. Hours are Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

All Things Considered features nearly two-dozen students from various artistic disciplines who combined their efforts and talents for one, single exhibit. It will showcase the skills and concepts the graduating B.F.A. students developed during their time as undergraduate students.

Department of Art + Design students begin their journey with foundations classes where they learn to master the basics of two- and three-dimensional art. During that same time, students are preparing to enter their desired emphases. Once they have been selected for the competitive programs, students have two years to explore and develop skills in their chosen disciplines. All Things Considered highlights the respective creative research and development of the graduating Art and Design seniors.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the physical show is limited and will only allow those within the USU community. The general public is invited to view an online version of the show at https://my.matterport.com/show/?m=dRFW1ngv54T
