Aggie Rec Fest Set for Aug. 27 After USU Home Football Game

LOGAN, Utah — Utah State University Campus Recreation will be having a party to begin the school year: Aggie Rec Fest. Campus Rec will host a post-football game party at the Aggie Rec Center, Aggie Legacy Fields and HPER on Aug. 27 from 7-11 p.m., right after USU’s football season home opener against UConn.
Aggie Rec Fest will include free snacks, giveaways, various games and inflatables and a special photo booth. All university students are welcome to attend the festivities and kick off the new school year as a chance to make new friends, win prizes and share a fun experience.
"Aggie Rec Fest is the most fun event I’ve been to!” said Haley Manus, a USU grad student. “You get to see and try all of the cool things that Campus Rec offers: intramural sports, fitness classes, esports, rock climbing and more. You also have the opportunity to tour the ARC, talk to club sports athletes, and be entered into a raffle for giveaways. Campus Rec truly has something for everyone, regardless of your interests. Last year at Rec Fest, I met people who I still see on campus today. It will be the best free post-game party. I look forward to meeting new people there this year!"
Activities this year will include inflatables such as jousting and boxing, Twister and bubble soccer, fitness class demos, yard games, games in the E-sports lab, sand volleyball, pickleball and basketball games, log rolling in the HPER pool, an indoor and outdoor climbing wall, a weightlifting competition and a photo booth to capture the memories.
Prizes at the event will include Johnny O's Spudnuts gift cards, Aggie ice cream coupons, a TV, a cooking set, headphones, a HURD membership, fitness memberships, intramural memberships, Aggie swag and more.

Note: Aggie Rec Fest is an event intended for current USU students only. Members of the community that are not current USU students are not encouraged to attend.
