Runners prepare to race in the Turkey Trot in Nov. 2022. The 3rd annual Turkey Trot will take place on Friday, Nov. 17 at 4 p.m. at the Aggie Legacy Fields.

Utah State University Campus Recreation will host its third annual Turkey Trot 5k fun run and walk at 4 p.m., Friday, Nov. 17. The race will begin at the Aggie Legacy Fields and usher racers throughout USU’s beautiful campus grounds.

The event is open to all USU students, faculty, staff and all members of the local community, limited to the first 120 racers who sign up. Community members and students who wish to participate as spectators or volunteers are also welcome.

Volunteers are needed for the water station, race direction of runners along the course, time keeping, and post race tent handing out the giveaway items. Volunteers will be fed dinner after the event ends. If interested, email amanda.bray@usu.edu.

Past participants have praised the event saying everything from, “The awards and giveaway was really fun afterwards, and the clubs cheering you on on the course was nice!” to “I had fun competing with my fellow Aggies”.
