Plants in Space
In 2017, NASA launched a five-year project to make life self-sustaining on Mars. Under the direction of USU Botanist Bruce Bugbee, students work to find ways to grow plants in artificial mediums.

"A Restless Spell" by Patrick Dougherty can now be found near the entrance of the USU Merril-Cazier Library. The art installation took six tons of willow to complete and will remain at USU for approximately two years.
