Powder Mountain Ski Day

Recreation

Come join us for a day of skiing/snowboarding at Powder Mountain resort. We will meet up at Outdoor Programs, load up our ski/snowboard gear, and head to Powder Mountain to burn some turns. All riding abilities are welcome as there is terrain for everyone. Trip cost includes transportation and Powder Mountain lift ticket. Discounted ski rentals are available for an additional $10. This trip does not include ski or snowboard instruction. If you would like a lesson, you can contact Powder Mountain ski school. Participants must be registered and travel to and from Powder Mountain with Outdoor Programs to be eligible for the discount lift ticket.

Rock-n-Fossil Day

An event for the public to come learn about the many parts of Geology. There will be kids activities such as fossil digs, creating pet rocks, and learning about the rock cycle. There will also be presentations, demonstrations, rock/fossil/mineral identification, and museum tours.
