Clothesline Project - Domestic Violence Awareness Month

The Clothesline Project is an annual event to raise awareness about domestic violence during the month of October, National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The Clothesline Project is a visual display of shirts with graphic messages and illustrations that have been designed by survivors of interpersonal violence or by someone who loves someone who has been killed. It was created as a way for survivors to share what has happened to them as well as highlight the realities behind statistics of domestic violence that are often overlooked. The project will be displayed across USU Campus at various dining services locations. We encourage you to visit a display this month and visit our resources page should you or someone you know need help.

Trans Allies Training

Workshop/Training

In this virtual two hour training, participants learn about key terminology, microaggressions, state laws, and other key topics that impact the trans and non-binary community. Participants have the opportunity to take a commitment pledge and receive a trans allies sticker. To register for this training, please visit: https://www.usu.edu/inclusion/gender-sexuality/allies Participants will receive a zoom link the morning of the training.

Want to know how to support the LGBT+ community? Running Sons Charity Concert

Fundraiser

We are a group of five Utah State students hosting a fundraiser to earn revenue for the Mali Wellness Foundation. Our “Charity Concert” will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at 7 pm in the TSC Sunburst Lounge. The evening will consist of live concert entertainment provided by the Running Sons and raffle prizes. All profits raised throughout the event will be donated to the Mali Wellness Foundation to improve living conditions in Malian rural communities! Bring a friend and some cash and join us for a fun evening!
