Our Commitment

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion have been priorities of USU — especially since President Cockett assumed office in 2017. From creation of inclusive environments and centers, like the Latinx Cultural Center and the Center for Intersectional Gender Studies and Research, to funding and staff increases for USU’s Inclusion Center, the Veterans Resource Center, and the Office of Equity, USU is dedicated to making sure the campus community is welcoming for all.

USU is a community leader in these efforts and provides outreach through events like the Inclusive Excellence Symposium, the Community Diversity Dinner, the Utah Women & Leadership Project, and other initiatives under Aggies Think, Care, Act.”
